gimbað barnateppi ~~~ crochet lace loom baby blanket

Langt síðan ég hef sett eitthvað hér inn en hef þó ekki setið auðum höndum. Gimbaði teppi til að gefa ungum sveini. Fann enga uppskrift þannig að þetta varð að vinnast af fingrum fram. Merkilegt hvað enska heitið á gimbi er flókið.
En teppið kláraði ég á örfáum dögum og held ég að allir hafi verið ánægðir með það.

It has been a while since I last posted something in here but it does not mean that I haven´t been doing something. I made this baby blanket for one young baby boy using the method of lace loom crochet. I could not find any pattern on the internet so I had to make one myself. Funny thing how complicated the English word of it is, as it is just one single simple word in Icelandic.

But I finished the blanket in time in just few days and think that everyone is happy with it.

kortaleikur og brúsar ~~~ card-game on sb.is and milk cans from DDSB

Er búin að vera lengi að gera þessi kort.
Annars vegar er kort sem ég gerði fyrir kortaleikinn hennar Guggu, fékk efni frá Ýr *Takk Ýr* sem var svo mikið að ég lenti í kreppu með að koma því öllu fyrir (tókst ekki samt, bling og perlur afgangs). Strax við kynninguna á leiknum fannst mér rétt að tileinka kortið Ragnheiði Jónu vegna hennar veikinda. Hins vegar er svo kort fyrir áskorun hjá DDSB - fékk þennan flott stimpil af brúsum á kerru til að vinna með. Það kort er líka búið að vera höfuðverkur en svo small það saman svona einfalt og ég er ekkert viss um að ég skreyti það nokkuð meira, bara setja textaspjald inní þegar það verður notað.

It´s been lot of time for me to make these cards.
One is for Guggita´s game on scrapbook.is, got stuff from Ýr *thanks Ýr*, it was so much that I had some dilemma knowing what to do with it all (did though not use it all, some bling and pearls left). At the very beginning on the introduction of the game I felt it wright to dedicate to one of our mates at sb.is which has been so sick. The other one is a card for challenge at DDSB - had this great stamp of milk cans to work with. That card has also been such a headache but suddenly it clicked and as simple as it is, I don´t think I will decorate it any more, just put on some text message inside when it will be used.

það átti að nota ákveðinn stimpil og 3D. Ekki þótti mér leiðinlegt að nota þennan sæta múrsar-kaffibollastimpil sem ég litaði með með TRIA litum frá Letraset.

one was supposed to use certain stamp and some 3D. I did not found it boring to use this cute mouse in a cup stamp which I colored with TRIA markers from Letraset.

And the text in this one says on one side: You are invited......

Í tilefni páskanna ~~~ Because of easter

Bjó til þessa litlu körfu og fyllti með litlum súkkulaðieggjum frá Cadburry´s. Færði hana foreldrum mínum í stað páskaeggs og vitaskuld kom það í minn hlut að smakka á þessu rétt eins og öllum sætindum þar á bæ. Gerði þetta í flýti þannig að það var ekkert dúllað neitt við þetta.

Made this little basket and filled it up with small chocolate-eggs from Cadburry´s. Gave it to my paretns instead of easter-egg and of course I had to taste it as goes with all other sweets on that house. Made it in hurry so I din´t give any detaile.

2 síður og kort ~~~ 2 pages and a card

Gerði þessar síður fyrir áskoranir á scrappbook.is, annars vegar litaáskorun en þar á hvítt að vera í aðallhlutverki og hins vegar í drop out ESM 5 en þar mátti bara nota fjórðung af síðunni.
Kortið er síðan í kortlyft 8 en ég átti alltaf eftir að taka myndina. Síðan ætla ég að nota það sem afmæliskort.

Made theese pages for challange in sb.is, one for colour challange where the main colour should be white and the other one for drop out ESM 5 where we should only use a quarter of the page.
The card was for the cardlift 8 which I did not take the photo till now. Then I´m going to use it as a birthday card.
